Cristian Pechene

Cristian brings extensive local knowledge, operational expertise and a genuine love for the Falklands’ wildlife, history and landscapes. His role ensures that every route, transfer, and operational detail runs seamlessly, allowing visitors to enjoy a smooth, safe, and truly memorable experience.
About our Tour Guide
Cristian arrived in the Falkland Islands in 2017 and has called it home ever since. A refrigeration engineer, electrician, and boiler engineer by trade, he brings a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership, and a passion for the natural world.
In addition to his professional experience, he holds a FREC 3 (First Response Emergency Care) certification as a Safe Guardian Level 1, providing essential added value in terms of safety and preparedness.
But beyond his qualifications, Cristian offers something far more valuable: an authentic connection to the environment, genuine local knowledge, and a deep-seated passion for wildlife and conservation.
